Embark on an inspiring morning adventure as we journey through the lush forest to Hemlock Falls—a cascading 15-foot cascade spilling into a peaceful natural pool. This 1-mile round-trip trail follows the rhododendron-lined Moccasin Creek, featuring multiple charming mini-falls, a rustic footbridge, and the soothing rhythm of flowing water along the way.
After reconnecting with nature and awakening your senses, we’ll transition to a gentle yoga flow at Moccasin Creek State Park Picnic Shelter 01 along Lake Burton. It’s the ideal opportunity to stretch, ground, and fully arrive for the day ahead. This experience is designed for all levels—whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, a regular yogi or simply curious to try, everyone is welcome!
Bring water, comfortable shoes, and a yoga mat (or towel). We’ll handle the rest!
Fee: $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
Meet-up location is the Moccasin Creek Picnic Shelter 01.
*Note: Registration does not include Park Entry fee. It's $5 per car unless you have a GA State Park Pass. Carpooling is encouraged.
Guide/Instructor: Ericka McKibbin
With over 20 years on her personal yoga journey, Ericka brings a deep love for the practice to every class she leads. Recently completing her 200HR Yoga Teacher Training along with a 95HR Kids Yoga certification, she’s passionate about sharing the benefits of movement, meditation, and breath with students of all ages.
A self-proclaimed gypsy at heart, Ericka has wandered across the U.S., Europe, and Central America in search of beauty, wisdom, and connection. But it was the North Georgia mountains that truly captured her spirit. Their grounding energy and quiet magic mirror the transformative power of yoga—a practice that continues to be one of her greatest sources of joy and inner peace. Whether guiding a mindful flow or a playful kids' session, Ericka creates a welcoming space where students can reconnect with themselves and move with intention.
When she’s not on the mat, you’ll likely find her hiking scenic trails, walking her golden doodle Charlie, exploring with her husband and kids, or giving back through her volunteer work with Thrive Wellness Hub in Clayton.
